Charter a Princess F55 in Cannes

A flybridge can give the party another view of the coast, while the main deck offers a different setting for conversation.

Decide which deck will earn its place

Ask how the two connect and where lunch would be served. If the group wants to remain together, a well-arranged table may matter more than moving between several seating areas.

Request current photographs of the offered F55, showing shade and stairs as well as the polished exterior. Share mobility needs and children’s ages before choosing the layout. The published six berths belong to the accommodation specification; they do not establish the yacht’s licensed daytime passenger limit.

Use a realistic interval for the islands

An island afternoon near Lérins should leave room for the activity that brings you out: swimming, lunch or simply a pause away from Cannes. Explain the priority to the captain. Do not fill a short charter with both island ambitions and a distant coastal destination just because the yacht is motor-driven.

If you are attending Cannes Lions or the Film Festival, make the return deadline explicit. The proposal must name the actual boarding port and any transfer needed from your hotel. A charter enquiry does not secure an event berth, and a preferred quay should never be included in guest instructions without confirmation.

Separate the yacht from the service you expect

The F55 design cannot tell you who will serve lunch, whether a chef is included or how outside catering is handled. Ask for those arrangements in writing, with drinks and dietary requirements set out. Discuss any photographer or additional supplier before inviting them to the departure.

For a simple day cruise, focus on the spaces used for those hours. For an overnight request, ask for the cabin and bed arrangement and where crew are accommodated. A model option does not confirm that every F55 carries the same fit-out or offers the same charter service.

Make the alternatives comparable

If another flybridge yacht is proposed, compare it against the same Cannes programme. Check the dining setup, covered seats, boarding access and actual guest allowance. A longer yacht should not automatically win if its layout divides the party or requires an inconvenient departure.

Send the date, guest count, hours available and the main purpose of the day. Ask the offer to explain fuel, crew, food and any port-related cost, plus the process for weather-led changes. This Princess model guide supports that discussion without claiming that an individual F55 is confirmed in a local fleet.
