A yacht rate becomes useful when the date, duration and intended use are known. A day near the Lérins Islands, a longer crewed charter and an event while berthed can involve different cost arrangements. Start by describing what the yacht needs to do rather than comparing headline prices without that context.

Your proposal should identify the actual yacht and the supplying operator. Ask which crew and equipment are included, where guests board and whether any repositioning is required. A Cannes address alone does not establish a berth beside your event.

Separate the rate from running expenses

Fuel, food, drinks, taxes and berthing may be handled in different ways depending on the charter agreement. On some longer or larger-yacht charters, an advance provisioning allowance covers agreed expenses and is reconciled afterward. Ask what the allowance includes and how any balance is settled.

A quote should make uncertainty visible. A berth request that is still pending is not a confirmed inclusion, and an estimated expense allowance is not automatically the final running cost.
