Choose a Cannes day, then its yacht
Compare the room you will use, from an open sports deck to a flybridge, a sailing layout or a larger multi-deck setting. Each model reference gives a practical way to shape a Cannes charter request.

Cannes / Lumière sur Mer
A main lounge, an upper living level and open outdoor decks let the Princess 40M host more than one kind of moment. In Cannes, the most useful starting point is the occasion’s principal room, then the quieter or more open alternatives around it.
The Princess 40M offers several levels, so a Cannes host can give the main meal or conversation a clear setting while leaving other areas for a quieter pace. That may be a smaller business discussion after lunch or a family member spending time outside while others remain indoors. It does not require a sequence of compulsory moves around the yacht. Choose the main gathering room around the purpose of the charter, then examine the alternatives on the offered plan. Individual interiors differ, and photographs of another 40M cannot settle the furniture or circulation of the yacht proposed.
A request during the Film Festival or Cannes Lions needs a clear distinction between an event-support berth and a cruising charter. The model name alone does not secure a port position, commercial event use or access for outside suppliers. Establish the intended use and dates before arranging invitations or deliveries. Vieux Port, Port Canto and an offshore transfer are different arrival experiences; the actual operator’s proposal determines which applies. Leave a practical interval for boarding and disembarkation around any fixed programme ashore, especially when guests are arriving from multiple venues.
The series includes substantial outdoor decks and an aft beach-club relationship with the water. A suitable stop can make that lower level part of the day, while the upper areas offer a different perspective during a coastal outing. Access and equipment depend on the actual yacht and the crew’s procedure. If a swim or a tender transfer is central to the plan, describe it as an activity requirement rather than assuming every feature in a brochure will be in service. Shade and circulation between decks also deserve attention when the event lasts several hours.
The Princess 40M was offered with individual accommodation choices. Some documented charter examples use six guest cabins, but that is not a universal model specification. For an extended stay, begin with the actual plan, bathroom access and the relationship between the principal suite and other rooms. For a day event, do not convert bedrooms into an assumed guest allowance. A large yacht’s space, service needs and licensed capacity remain separate questions. The enquiry should state whether the gathering is entirely daytime or includes guests staying aboard afterwards.
The builder reference gives 40.16 metres overall and an 8.02-metre beam. Those measurements establish the scale, while the offered deck plan determines how the yacht serves your occasion. Ask for a Princess 40M if that is the intended model, and state which layout features are essential if alternatives may be considered. This guide does not represent a named hull or confirmed Cannes inventory.
