Two outdoor settings on one compact deck

At a suitable stop, that gives a smaller Cannes party a choice of setting without moving onto a separate upper floor. Decide where everyone should gather for food or conversation, then let the other area remain an option.

The skipper still directs movement during passages and manoeuvres. The value of the layout lies in the relationship between its spaces, not in unrestricted access at every moment.

A T-top does not shade the entire yacht

The central roof shelters the helm area, with additional shade dependent on the fitted bimini or covers. Some guests may want the sunpads while others prefer to remain under cover, making the actual seating arrangement important to a summer day. Look at where everyone will sit during the passage and during lunch.

A photograph taken from above shows the deck well but can conceal how limited the shaded footprint becomes at a different sun angle. A larger enclosed yacht is a separate comparison if an indoor daytime room is essential.

The lower layout varies within a small footprint

Pardo’s specification describes one cabin as standard and an optional second cabin, with two to four berths. The reference dimensions are 11.56 metres overall and 3.60 metres wide. For a day charter, the lower space may be used mainly for changing or a brief rest when included.

For an overnight enquiry, the bed arrangement and crew’s role need a more detailed plan. This model reference follows an inboard example. The outboard P38R has a different stern arrangement and should be identified separately when comparing swimming and platform access.

Give a shorter Cannes booking one clear focus

An island-led outing can keep the passage and a stationary interval in balance, leaving time to enjoy the cockpit instead of spending every hour moving. A simple lunch aboard creates a different programme from a restaurant visit requiring a landing or tender transfer. For a longer coast-led day, the Esterel becomes another possible emphasis.

State which experience matters most and the useful hours available. The actual departure berth, weather and skipper’s route determine the day’s sequence, so a hotel location alone is not a boarding plan.

Compact and open is a deliberate choice

The Pardo 38 suits a brief in which outdoor time leads and extensive indoor hosting is unnecessary. Compare it with a larger walkaround if more deck room is the priority, or with the Endurance 60 for an enclosed saloon and flybridge. Tell us the shade, meal and accommodation features that are essential.
