Cabin allocation comes first
List the overnight guests and how they can share. Couples, friends and families may need different cabin arrangements even when the total is the same. Ask for the actual plan, berth sizes and bathroom access.
A yacht's daytime passenger limit gives no reliable answer about comfortable sleeping accommodation. For a longer itinerary, discuss privacy and the crew's working areas. Guests should understand where meals are served and how the yacht operates in the evening.
Mobility needs belong in this conversation early, because accommodation can involve several changes of level.
Agree the rhythm and the costs
A multi-day Cannes charter can balance passages, time at anchor and nights in port, subject to the captain's plan and berth arrangements. Avoid fixing every restaurant or shore visit before the yacht and schedule are confirmed. Conditions may require another route.
The proposal should explain the charter rate, taxes and running expenses. Where an advance provisioning allowance applies, ask how it is calculated and reconciled. Read the weather and cancellation clauses and establish the supplying operator before making a payment.
Agree the final itinerary with the captain before departure.
Charter questions
Which guest arrangements belong in the brief?
Distinguish a seated meal from a reception with people moving around. Add any supplier access or fixed event times so the yacht, service and boarding arrangement can be assessed together.
